Loker kothay kaan diyo na, lokra kebol bhul boke,
Loker kothay cholle pore cholbe tumi jhul chhoke.

Lok-e kemon bolbe tomay, khidey pete aag jwole,
Tai bole ki khidey lok-e khobor pathay domkol-e?

Abar kemon bolbe tara, khatle pore phol paabe,
Taar mane ki mute mojur khatar pore aam khabe?
